EAST LIVERPOOL — Tiyler P. Tataseo, 22, North Shady Lane, was found guilty of domestic violence and carrying a concealed weapon. He was sentenced to 120 total days in jail with 111 days suspended and nine days imposed as well as 40 hours of community service and probation. He was also fined $275. He threw to the floor, choked and struck a family member on May 31 and he had a loaded Raven .25 semi automatic handgun concealed in his driver’s side door panel. The gun was loaded with six rounds in the magazine and one in the chamber. He is ordered to mental health, substance abuse and anger management. A review is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Aug. 26.
Shannon L. Cunning, 45, Lincoln Avenue, was found guilty of driving under suspension and violating probation. She was sentenced to jail 20 days imposed with credit for time served. She was fined $350.
Aaron S. McDole, 42, Minerva Street, failed to appear at a pretrial for charges of no operator’s license, unclassified first offense, and fictitious license plates. A bench warrant was issued and bond was set at $5,000 cash/surety.
Dianna L. Haney, 63, Boyd Street, has a trial date set for 12 p.m. Aug. 4. She is charged with petty theft for allegedly failing to scan and pay for five items at Walmart, totaling $52.41.
Christopher A. Dorsey, 41, Erie Street, has a trial date set for 9 a.m. June 16 for aggravated menacing charges from Dec. 2, 2021.
Jarell A. Washington, 33, Cohasset Drive in Youngstown, failed to appear for a pretrial for charges of driving under suspension for child support failure to pay and expired license or permit including mc first or second on Feb. 5, 2021. He is also charged with drug paraphernalia offenses from April 9, 2022. A bench warrant was issued and bond is set at $5,000 cash/surety.
Shawn M. Boyle, 30, Lincoln Avenue, failed to appear for his pretrial for driving under suspension/FRA suspension. A bench warrant was issued and bond is set at $5,000 cash/surety.
Clara J. Russell, 54, West Terrace Drive in Wellsville, was found guilty of petty theft. She was fined $250, sentenced to 60 days in jail suspended, three days under electronically monitored house arrest, 20 hours community service, one year probation and no contact with Walmart. A review is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Aug. 26.
Daniel L. Kernaich, 41, Sprucevale Road, has a trial date set for 9 a.m. Aug. 4. He is charged with petty theft.
Dawn L. Acker, 43, Sunnyside Street, appeared in court for fictitious plates charges. They were amended to lighted lights and Acker pleaded no contest and was found guilty. She was fined $100.
Jonathan T. Diegdio, 19, Louise Avenue, was found guilty of assault and was sentenced to 120 days in jail, 118 suspended, credit two days. He was fined $250 and sentenced to 20 hours of community service, anger management assessment and one year probation. He punched the victim in the face when asked to leave on Jan. 7. He is not allowed contact with the victim or a listed family member except for child visitation.
John D. Miscuk, 26, Mason Street, has a trial date set for 9:30 a.m. June 23 for domestic violence after he allegedly assaulted a family member. A status hearing is set for June 16 at 10 a.m.

LISBON — In Columbiana County Municipal Court, a jury found Michael R. Phillis, 38, Guy Road, Lisbon, innocent of domestic violence following a day-long trial. A charge of aggravated menacing was dismissed.
The charges against Phillis stemmed from an incident on Jan. 17 at his residence where Jennifer Phillis told deputies she believed she would be harmed after she alleged he opened the front door and pulled a 9mm firearm, made a comment to her and discharged a live round into the air.
A pretrial was set June 21 for Nicolas White, 22, Center Street, Wellsville, charged with aggravated menacing, with bond set at $20,000 cash or surety and an order to have no contact with Michael Blair. White allegedly attempted to stab Blair during a disturbance on April 1 in Wellsville and threatened to shoot up his residence.
Preston Wright, 29, Forest Street, Lisbon, was fined $650 and ordered to complete 20 hours community service for resisting arrest, criminal damaging and disorderly conduct related to an incident March 17 in Lisbon when he shattered a windshield, was taunting others to fight and tried to prevent officers from placing handcuffs on him after his arrest.
Jess Shiflett, 27, Youngstown, had a protection order violation against him dismissed at the request of the prosecution and the alleged victim, who was in a vehicle with him on Feb. 22 in Columbiana.
A pretrial was set Aug. 1 for Paul Hartman, 40, East Martin Street, East Palestine, charged with domestic violence for allegedly calling his live-in girlfriend names and pulling her hair, inflicting several scratches on her face and redness on her ear on April 26 in East Palestine.
Robert Hepburn, 62, Canfield, was fined $750 for engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools and ordered to forfeit $80 to the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force after requesting sexual conduct in exchange for $80 from an undercover agent online and coming to Salem on Feb. 25 to meet.
Jennifer Winwood, 45, Niles, previously Beloit, was fined $750 and given credit for one day served in jail for disorderly conduct, amended from obstructing official business, and passing bad checks for passing a bad check at Lease Drug, Salem, and for giving a false name and social security number when police were attempting to serve her with a warrant in Salem on Feb. 24, 2012.
A pretrial was set Aug. 23 for Kevin Soles, 46, New Freeport, Pa., charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools for allegedly arranging to meet an undercover agent for sexual conduct in exchange for $140 in East Palestine on May 11.
A pretrial was set Aug. 16 for Samantha Adams, 38, Ohio Avenue, Salem, charged with obstructing official business and assured clear distance ahead for allegedly walking away from police refusing to answer questions and provide her identity when asked regarding an accusation that she was following someone on June 8 in Salem. The traffic charge stems from an alleged accident in Salem on May 27.
Anton Travick, 42, Canton, was fined $750 and ordered to complete 20 hours community service and an online education course for engaging in prostitution and possession of criminal tools. Travick traveled to East Palestine on April 24 after responding to an undercover ad for sexual activity with a female in exchange for $180 and had $200 and a cell phone used to arrange the deal with him.
A pretrial was set Aug. 25 for James Hawkins, 65, Wadsworth, charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools, for allegedly meeting in Salem with an undercover agent on June 7 for sexual conduct in exchange for $120.
A pretrial was set Aug. 8 for Jason Ramsey, 40, Rose Avenue, Salem, charged with disorderly conduct for allegedly yelling and causing alarm to neighbors by grabbing a female’s arm and yelling offensively at her on June 7 on Rose Avenue in Salem.
A pretrial was set Aug. 23 for Maria Mullins, 61, Hamilton Road, East Palestine, charged with two counts of animals running at large for her cows allegedly getting loose on May 24 and June 2.
Eric Rogers, 48, South Hollywood Avenue, East Liverpool, was fined $955, sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 suspended and credit for three days for a driving intervention program, and had his license suspended for a year with driving privileges granted for operating a vehicle under the influence, expired license and traffic control devices. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service. A charge of improper/expired registration was dismissed.
Daniel Ford, 38, King Road, Salem, was fined $490 and had his license suspended for two years for reckless operation, amended from OVI, failure to produce license, marked lanes and distracted driving.
David Foerster, 62, New Castle, Pa., was fined $975, sentenced to 90 days in jail, with 87 days suspended and credit for three days in a driving intervention program, and had his license suspended for a year for OVI and open container. He was ordered to complete 40 hours community service.
A pretrial was set Aug. 25 for Timothy Lodge, 33, Summit Street, Salem, charged with OVI third offense, driving under suspension, furnishing false information and speeding.
A pretrial was set July 21 for Donald Smith, 62, Speidel Road, Lisbon, charged with driving under 12-point suspension, use of unauthorized plate and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia related to a June 7 traffic stop in Columbiana and his possession of a rolled dollar bill with white residue.
Danielle Shoemaker, 43, New Springfield, was fined $200 and ordered to complete 20 hours community service for illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to dim headlights for possessing a snort straw with residue and other paraphernalia during a traffic stop in Columbiana on April 1.
A pretrial was set June 28 for Michael Hipsley, 29, state Route 39, Salineville, charged with driving under suspension.
Heather Morris, 45, Andrews Place, East Liverpool, was fined $150 for speeding, with a charge of expired plate dismissed.
Eric Boyer, 43, East Canton, was fined $350 for driving under suspension and use of unauthorized plate.
Christopher Minadeo, 37, Boardman, was fined $250 for driving under 12-point suspension.
Joseph Byrd, 49, Toledo, was fined $195 for driving under suspension and speeding.
A pretrial was set Aug. 16 for Jodi Ann Johnson, 24, West Railroad Street, Columbiana, charged with driving under suspension.
Johnathan Weaver, 34, Bye Road, East Palestine, was fined $40 for failure to control, with a seat belt violation dismissed.
Justyn Lake, 21, state Route 164, Salineville, was fined $30 for tail lights, with a driving under suspension charge dismissed.
Leiganne Jamison, 29, Fair Avenue, Salem, was fined $130 for expired plates and failure to yield.
Larry Sudberry, 25, Canfield, was fined $250 for speeding.
LISBON — In Columbiana County Common Pleas Court, Lance J. Steffel, 67, Warren, pleaded guilty to grand theft of a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony, for stealing a pickup on April 22, 2021. He was sentenced to seven months and one day of jail time, receiving credit for seven months and one day already served and ordered released from jail.
Brenston T. Thompkins, 27, homeless, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to two counts of assault, a fourth-degree felony and a minor misdemeanor, for assaulting a peace officer and medical official on May 22, 2021. He was sentenced to six months in jail.
Anthony Antonas, 41, Poland, pleaded guilty to obstructing official business, amended from domestic violence, with sentencing set Sept. 19, for an incident that occurred Jan. 1.
Matthew Jackson, 32, Cannons Mill Road, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to seven counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, with sentencing set Aug. 29 for incidents occurred on Nov. 1, 2021.
Norman D. Sleper, 55, Ravine Street, East Liverpool, pleaded guilty to possession of cocaine, a fifth-degree felony, for having it in his possession on Aug. 20. He was sentenced to six months in jail.
Amanda B. Hines, 35, Cincinatti, pleaded guilty to possession of methamphetamine, a fifth-degree felony, for having it in her possession on April 4. She was sentenced to six months in jail.
